FAQs

How does it all work?

Pick a flick

Browse our film schedule, pick the film that best suits you (or several!), go through to the checkout and complete your purchase. Your ticket will appear in your inbox once the order has gone through. This ticket has everything you need so make sure you bring it along! Then wait oh so patiently for the big day(s) to come around.

Off we go…

Hop in your car, making sure you’ve got a device with your ticket on, and drive on down to Weymouth Park and Ride.

Doors open 30 minutes before the film starts so get here early to bag the front row.

Arriving

When you arrive, our team will scan your ticket and provide you with your audio equipment. This will consist of an audio receiver and an aux cable that you can either plug into your car audio system or the wireless speaker we provide. We will explain how that stuff works when you get there, we won’t bore you with it now…

Do I need a car radio / how do I hear the movie?

You don’t need a car radio for this experience. On arrival, our team will provide you with your audio equipment. This will consist of an audio receiver and an aux cable that you can either plug into your car audio system or the wireless speaker we provide.

What time do I need to arrive?

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the film starts. Spaces are first come, first served.

How will I see the film in the daylight?

Our Drive In Cinema uses an LED Screen rather than a traditional projector. This way, we can show HD Movies throughout the day with no impact on the quality. Sunset will be approximately 4:15pm each day too, so it will be getting dark during the 2nd show of the day if you did want the evening atmosphere but didn’t want to book the later show.

I have a van - what do I do?

Please contact our Box Office to insure we are able to accomodate your vehicle. Large vehicles will be placed along the side of our parking bays to ensure a good viewing experience for everyone.

Are there toilets?

There are toilets on site, including one disabled toilet unit.

Can I park next to friends and family?

We can only accomodate this if you arrive together. If you arrive next to one another in the car queue then this should be possible. If you do not arrive together, this will not be possible as spaces are first come, first served.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not permitted on site due to health and safety constraints.

Let the magic begin!

Our team will then show you where to park and that’s it! You don’t need to move your car and you can order some delicious snacks from our food vendors. We have toilet facilities on site that you can use at any time.

Now all you have to do is sit  back, relax and enjoy the film!
